How much do you cost?
This varies greatly based on duration, gear, and services needed. For new clients in 2024, I typically bill $115 per hour for mixing, and if the gig requires travel over 50 miles from the San Francisco Bay Area, I bill half rate for travel time plus travel expenses.
What kind of music do you play?
K-pop! I earned my DJ chops in the early 2010s playing hip-hop, EDM and top 40 in clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as doing small mobile DJ events. I started mixing K-pop in 2008, but decided in 2015 to take fewer gigs – accepting only events where K-pop is a main focus or theme. I’ll still do some top 40 club events where I can get away with playing some K-pop.
What are your gigs or events like?
Check out some of my gig recordings! I typically mix K-pop music/choreography videos with music in a live format.
Do you take requests?
Yes! But please let me know if there are any obscure or uncommon songs you would like played before the event so that I can have it ready.
At the event, I honor requests but will hold on playing requests if it is unliked by the guests at large.
Where can I hear you live?
Mostly at “Kpop Night” events! I’m regularly posting new events on Instagram.
